Time Always Writes Its Own Story
A song idea that survived decades
The title image shows a Kawasaki VN1500 that travelled thousands of miles across Europe over many years. Some of the thoughts and ideas behind this project were born on the road – along routes stretching from Germany to Ireland and the Atlantic coast.
Just like music, every journey tells its own story.
Our current website was redesigned in 2026 with great support from “Elias” (ChatGPT).
The songs
“Time Always writes its own Story”
and the Spanish version
“El tiempo escribe su historia”
were created completely without the involvement of AI.
The musical idea and the emotional message behind these songs originated in the late 1980s — at a time when artificial intelligence did not yet exist in music production.
An early demo version of the song still exists today on an old cassette tape under the working title:
„If there´ll be nothing at all“
Even back then, the core message of the song already existed:
As long as people still have dreams, hope and inner strength, life keeps moving forward.
Only when somebody completely gives up, everything becomes empty.

The development of the current production
In 2025 the song idea was brought back to life and developed into a completely new production.
During a recording session in 2025,
Benjamin Nawotka contributed several important lyrical ideas and changes to the English version and therefore became co-author of the English lyrics.
A little later the idea emerged to also produce the song in Spanish.
Arlette Del Pilar Gómez Vega, a mutual friend of Benjamin and Peter Nawotka from Colombia, created several Spanish lyric versions whose meaning corresponds closely to the English text.
“Pili” therefore became the author of the Spanish lyrics.
Both songs were produced in the
Förderturm Recording Studio.

Production process
Over many months and numerous recording sessions, the arrangement of the English version slowly evolved.
Later, several musical parts and tracks were replaced, extended or newly recorded as the production continued to grow.
The current version of the production began around mid 2025.

Technology changes over time.
Music production changes over time.

The Rock’n’Roll turtles meanwhile possess permanent Förderturm Musik backstage passes.
